The Sentosa Golf Club was teed up and buzzing with enthusiasm on Friday, August 11th, as participants joined together for the annual KWSH Charity Golf 2023. This memorable day brought together over 140 golf enthusiasts who hit the green at The Tanjong Course to support Kwong W Shiu Hospital KWSH, a healthcare institution dedicated to serving seniors in need.
Distinguished by Mr Desmond Tan, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office, this event elevated KWSH Charity Golf's prestige through his participation as the honored guest. His presence added an element of distinction alongside the spirit of giving that permeated throughout the day. Golfers from various backgrounds displayed their skills amidst breathtaking views on Sentosa Island.
Post-golf festivities included a celebratory dinner where Mr Tan thanked donors and sponsors for their contribution to the cause. Prizes were awarded to tournament winners, followed by an engaging lucky draw as the evening wound down.
KWSH is profoundly grateful to Mr Tan for taking time out of his busy schedule to join us in this meaningful eavor. The hospital exts its sincere thanks to all contributors - donors and sponsors alike - whose efforts led to a total fundrsing amount of $500,000. This generous sum will significantly d the financial needs necessary for serving the elderly community.
